Cypress Hills Fire Injures Two
A fire broke out in a vacant house in the Cypress Hills section of Brooklyn just before 2:30 a.m., leaving two people injured. Firefighters responded to the blaze on Miller Street, battling heavy flames in frigid temperatures. The fire was brought under control within an hour.

Neighbors reported that the house had been unoccupied for an extended period and was frequently used by squatters. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The extent of the injuries sustained by the two individuals is not yet publicly known.
