Football fixtures and results for the German leagues, in depth: pick the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga or DFB-Pokal, choose a matchday, and see every score. Data comes live from the free OpenLigaDB API — no account, no app.
What does this tool show?
Every fixture and result from the German football leagues: the Bundesliga (first division), 2. Bundesliga, 3. Liga and the DFB-Pokal cup. Pick a league and a matchday and you get the full list — home team, away team, score and kick-off time. The “current” option shows the latest round without you hunting for the matchday number.
How to use it
- Choose a league from the dropdown (Bundesliga is selected first).
- Choose “current” for the latest round, or a numbered matchday for an earlier round.
- Read the scores. Finished games show the final result; upcoming games show the kick-off time.
Worked example
Select “1. Fußball-Bundesliga” and matchday 1 of the current season. You will see all nine first-round fixtures with their results — for example, the opening match result and every other game from that weekend, grouped by matchday. Switch to matchday 2 and the list updates instantly. That is the whole workflow: two dropdowns, every score.
Why German leagues?
This tool is honest about its coverage: the data comes from OpenLigaDB, a free community API built around German football. Its Bundesliga data is deep and reliable, going back many seasons. If you need the English Premier League or La Liga, this particular tool will not have it — the API’s focus is Germany, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Who is it for?
Fans following the Bundesliga from abroad, fantasy players checking results, and anyone who wants a fast scores page without ads, pop-ups or an app install. Everything loads in your browser and nothing is tracked.

How a Bundesliga season is structured
The Bundesliga has 18 clubs, and each club plays every other club twice — once at home and once away — for 34 matchdays in total. The 2. Bundesliga works the same way with 18 clubs, while the 3. Liga has 20 clubs and 38 matchdays. That is why the matchday dropdown runs to 34: pick any number and you see that full round of fixtures. At the end of the season the bottom two Bundesliga clubs are relegated directly, the third-from-bottom club plays a two-legged play-off against the third-placed 2. Bundesliga club, and the top four qualify for the Champions League. The DFB-Pokal is different: it is a straight knockout cup open to professional clubs plus regional qualifiers, so a single bad night ends a team’s run — which is exactly why cup results make such good reading.
Reading results like a fan
A result only tells half the story, but patterns across matchdays tell the rest. If a club’s last five results read win, draw, win, win, draw, it is in form; three straight defeats usually means a manager under pressure. Use the matchday picker to walk backwards through a club’s recent rounds and you will spot streaks, home-versus-away splits and derby results without opening a single stats site. For fantasy players, that five-match form line is often more useful than a season table: it shows who is hot right now, not who was good in August.
