With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Lou Brehm (nee Younker) of Euclid, OH, who passed away peacefully at Legacy of Mentor on May 25th, 2024, at the age of 85. Surrounded by her loving family during her final moments, Jean left an enduring legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Early Life and Career

Jean Lou Brehm was born on October 26th, 1938, in Johnstown, PA, to Arthur and Margaret (nee Block) Younker. As a dedicated employee, she spent 11 years working as a keypuncher.

Family and Community Involvement

Jean was a devoted wife to Ronald Eugene Brehm, her soulmate of 55 years, who preceded her in death in December 2012. Together, they built a loving home and raised three children: Karen A. Fuller, Ronald K. Brehm, and Eric L. Brehm.

Jean found joy and fulfillment in her family. Her grandchildren, Jessica Chesney, Ronald E. Brehm, Kara Buono, Jacqueline Brehm, and Eric C. Brehm, were her pride and joy. She cherished the moments spent with them, creating lasting memories.

Beyond her family, Jean was an active member of her community. She was a valued member of the former The Master Church and the former Keystone Club, contributing her time and energy to various events and initiatives.

Funeral Arrangements

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jean’s life during a visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Jean’s final resting place will be at Richland Cemetery in Johnstown, PA, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
