Born on March 13, 1959, in Akron, Ohio, David Eugene Ward, affectionately known as “Dave,” passed away on May 23, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of adventure, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.

David was an adventurous spirit who embraced life’s challenges and sought new experiences with an unyielding passion. His love for the great outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing and hunting, where he found solace in the beauty of nature and the thrill of a successful catch or game retrieval. His charismatic personality and the twinkle in his eye were infectious, making him the life of the party wherever he went.

A Man of Many Passions

Besides his love for outdoor adventures, David was an avid golfer, whose sense of humor and witty banter often lightened the mood on the golf course. He believed in the adage, “Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about,” and lived his life to the fullest, embracing every moment with joy and enthusiasm.

Despite his adventurous spirit, David also found immense pleasure in the simple things in life. His family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was a loving son, husband, and father, always striving to bring joy and happiness to their lives. His unwavering love and absolute devotion were the cornerstones of his family.
