Muriel Young Niles, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023, at the age of 95. She was a longtime resident of Farmingdale, Maine.

A Life Well-Lived

Muriel was born in Hallowell, Maine in 1928 and lived a full and vibrant life. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, John Niles, for over 60 years.

Muriel was a loving mother to her three children, and her family was always her top priority. She was a constant source of support and encouragement to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Community Involvement

In addition to her family life, Muriel was actively involved in her community. She was a dedicated volunteer at the local library and the food pantry. She also enjoyed participating in her church’s activities.

A graveside ceremony will be held in Muriel’s memory on August 10, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Hallowell Cemetery, located on Water Street in Hallowell, Maine.
