The 2025 Discover Boating Atlanta Boat Show, in partnership with Progressive Insurance®, returns to the Georgia World Congress Center from January 9th to 12th, promising an unforgettable experience for boating enthusiasts of all ages. The show features several exciting attractions beyond the boat displays. The Lake Life Lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere with diverse activities. Enjoy “Boat Apétit” tastings showcasing Atlanta’s culinary scene on Saturday, test your skills in a nautical-themed gaming truck, or take a virtual swing at the iconic 17th hole of Lake Tahoe’s Edgewood Golf Course using the golf simulator. Thrill-seekers can immerse themselves in the world of boat racing with a display featuring race footage, live commentary, and racing boats from Lake Guntersville’s HydroFest, courtesy of Marshall County Tourism and Sports.
For fishing enthusiasts, the Let’s Go Fishing Center provides hands-on learning experiences. Observe professional anglers demonstrate techniques in a 5,000-gallon aquarium, the Bass Tub, and witness real-time fish reactions to different lures and baits.
Boaters of all skill levels can benefit from the Fred’s Shed How-to Center, presented by Progressive®. This area offers expert advice and DIY solutions for troubleshooting various boat issues, making it a popular destination for both seasoned captains and novice boaters.
Families will appreciate the dedicated Kids’ Zone, featuring a range of activities, including a Surfing Simulator that lets kids experience the thrill of surfing without getting wet.
