Gangtok, December 27 – The Bhootpurva Sainik Sangathan (BSS) of Assam Lingzey, Sikkim, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a grand ceremony in Namcheybong constituency on Thursday. The event, attended by area MLA and Education Minister Raju Basnet, marked two decades of service to the community by the organization of ex-servicemen.
A key highlight of the celebration was the laying of the foundation stone for a new multipurpose hall and restroom. This facility is intended to significantly benefit the residents of Assam Lingzey and contribute to the overall development of the area.
The ceremony’s primary goal was to reinforce unity among Sikkim’s ex-servicemen and to foster positive contributions to society and the younger generation.
