Auburn wide receiver Sam Jackson will enter the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247Sports. This marks Jackson’s move to a fourth program in five years. He finishes his Auburn career with just two receptions.
Jackson, a former four-star quarterback recruit (ranked No. 25 nationally in the class of 2021), began his collegiate career at TCU before transferring to Cal. He then switched positions to wide receiver upon transferring to Auburn. Despite his highly-rated recruiting status, his Auburn tenure yielded only two catches for 63 yards and one touchdown.
