HOUSTON, Texas – Houston, you were treated to a spectacular show! Beyoncé Knowles-Carter delivered a cowgirl-studded halftime performance during the Christmas Day Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game. While the Houston Texans fell short, losing 2-31 to the Ravens, Beyoncé undoubtedly saved the day for the city.

Her halftime performance blended country music with elements of Houston and Historically Black College and University (HBCU) culture, featuring the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul marching band. This collaboration was a truly unforgettable spectacle, showcasing TSU’s talent on a national stage.

Beyoncé, known for celebrating HBCUs in her performances (similar to her Coachella performance with Grambling State University), continued this tradition. Under the direction of Dr. Brian Simmons, the Ocean of Soul took center stage, accompanying Beyoncé as she performed songs from her record-breaking country album, *Cowboy Carter*.
