Telangana Deputy Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka, inaugurated a new power substation in Hyderabad. The event served as a platform for Vikramarka to sharply criticize the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, accusing it of neglecting the needs of the people over the past decade.
He directly accused the BRS of betraying public trust, highlighting the unfulfilled promise of a ₹1 lakh farm loan waiver despite inheriting a financially sound state. Vikramarka stated, “In the last 10 years, the BRS has deceived the people.” This strong condemnation underscores the opposition’s stance on the BRS’s governance.
In contrast to his criticism of the BRS, Vikramarka assured the public that his own government is committed to fulfilling its promises with dedication and sincerity. He emphasized their commitment to delivering on all their campaign pledges.
The newly inaugurated power substation is anticipated to significantly improve the reliability of power supply in the region. This infrastructure development represents a tangible step towards the government’s broader goal of strengthening the state’s infrastructure.
