In Memoriam: Brandon Timothy Donahoo

On April 8, 2024, as the moon eclipsed the light of the sun, the delightful light of Brandon Timothy Donahoo left behind those who loved him as he transitioned to his heavenly father after a short illness.

Brandon was born April 23, 1991, to his mother, Kelly Donahoo, and his father, Michael Epps.

Other family he leaves behind are his partner of six years, Michelle Lua, their daughter Aracelli Epps, Michelle’s daughter and Brandon’s bonus daughter Millie, three sisters, Kristy Donahoo, Kelsey Branson, and Kacey Epps, grandmother Jennifer Grant, and uncles John Donahoo Jr., Brad Epps, and Brian (Lynette) Epps, as well as bonus dad, Greg Branson.

Those he joined in the light and love of his Lord and Savior included his and Michelle’s first-born dearly loved and missed baby girl, Malia, grandfather, John Donahoo Sr., grandfather Doug Epps, grandmother, Brenda Epps, as well as great-grandmother Joan Odell.

Brandon was a devoted father who delighted in his daughter, whose second birthday he was looking forward to. Aracelli was his sunshine, in every sense of the word and the song.

Brandon is remembered as an encouraging friend and a fun person to be around. His co-workers spoke highly of Brandon, who worked as a security guard at Verizon in Vallejo.

Brandon attended school in Vacaville and Vallejo. He enjoyed playing ice hockey, swimming, and basketball as a youth and being a dad and spending time with his family as an adult.

Thank you to Lynette Epps for orchestrating a beautiful Celebration of Life for Brandon at Harvest Free Will Baptist Church, American Canyon, where many attended, and Pastor Mike Smith for his inspiring message.
