Obituary: Brenda K. Quick, Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda K. Quick, a cherished member of the Cullman community. Brenda departed this world on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted family.
A Life of Love and Service
Brenda was born on March 29, 1947, to Henry and Ezzie Butler Kramer. Throughout her life, she exuded warmth, kindness, and a unwavering devotion to her family and community. In 1966, she exchanged vows with the love of her life, Jerry W. Quick, embarking on an extraordinary marital journey that spanned over five decades.
Brenda’s unwavering love extended beyond her immediate family to her extended community. She was a pillar of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, actively participating in various ministries and initiatives. Her compassionate spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand left an enduring mark on those who knew her.
Cherished Memories
Brenda’s legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry W. Quick; her loving daughters, Shannon Quick Morris and Tonya Quick-Jett (Brian); her cherished sister, Karen Kramer-Arrington (Stan); and her adored grandchildren, Ashley Ann Morris, Kala Q. Byrom (Clay), and Colin Kramer-Cocke.
Brenda’s unwavering love and compassionate presence will be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren, Camilla Byrom and Cage Byrom, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life
A funeral mass to honor Brenda’s extraordinary life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Alabama. Visitation will commence at 8:30 AM, followed by the rosary at 9:15 AM, and the Holy Mass at 10:00 AM.
The family will lay Brenda to rest at Cullman Memory Gardens, where she will be remembered with love and reverence for generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests friends and loved ones to consider making a donation in Brenda’s memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
