Bronx Train Stabbing: Man Faces Charges
A 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times aboard a northbound No. 5 train in the Bronx on Sunday morning around 11:00 a.m. The attack occurred near the East 149th Street and Grand Concourse subway station. Following the stabbing, the suspect fled the scene. Police responded to find the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

Authorities subsequently arrested 31-year-old Tarrik Adams of Harlem. Adams faces charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Approximately 30 minutes later, a second stabbing occurred nearby. A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the back near East 149th Street and Third Avenue. This incident, according to officials, appears to have stemmed from an argument between the victim and an unidentified assailant. The second victim was also transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The NYPD is investigating both incidents to determine the circumstances surrounding each stabbing. No further details have been released at this time.
