Video footage obtained by ABC7 shows shoppers fleeing after a single, loud boom. Store employees were also seen securing their entrances. Chicago Ridge police have confirmed the incident was a prank and are currently investigating to identify the perpetrators. Authorities have assured the public that there was no actual threat to safety and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
