In Memoriam: Connie Coolidge

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Constance “Connie” Caroline Coolidge (Faiferek), who passed away peacefully at her home in Lincoln, California on May 4, 2024.

Connie was born on July 30, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the oldest of nine children and grew up in a loving and supportive home. Connie graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and went on to work as a Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomist. She later became a part-time Travel Agent, which allowed her to pursue her passion for travel.

Connie was an avid traveler and had visited close to 100 countries throughout her life, visiting six continents and almost all of the 50 states. She loved gardening, gourmet food, photography, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Connie was also actively involved in her community and proudly served on the Yuba County Grand Jury in 1975.

Connie is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Coolidge, her former husband, Stanley A. Coolidge, Jr., and her siblings, Joseph Jr. and Dorothy. She is survived by her children, Andrew Coolidge and Karen Lockhart, as well as her ten grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Allison, Angela, Amanda, Andrew Jr., Michael, Matthew, Emily, and Ethan.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lincoln Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at the Harvest Room, 1465 Tharp Road, Yuba City. The doors will open at 4:30, with light appetizers and refreshments. The memorial service will begin at 5 pm.

Connie will be buried in Lincoln Cemetery next to her son, Stephen.

We will always remember Connie’s zest for life, her adventurous spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
