Culkin's Globes Jab:
Kieran Culkin reignites his playful feud with Pedro Pascal at the 2025 Golden Globes. The “Succession” star, nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “A Real Pain,” couldn’t resist another jab at his fellow actor during appearances on the Variety and Entertainment Tonight Golden Globes red carpet pre-show. When asked about Pascal, Culkin quipped, “Is he here tonight? Oh, he’s not? Sorry, Pedro, were you not nominated this year? Next year. Maybe next year. When I won’t be.” His remarks were delivered with a characteristically charming laugh.

Despite the playful rivalry, Culkin expressed genuine admiration for Pascal, and for his “Actors on Actors” partner Colman Domingo. “They’re lovely men,” he stated, adding, “I want to work with both of those guys. They are just freaking fantastic.” This sentiment underscores the lighthearted nature of the ongoing “feud,” which began last year at the Golden Globes.

Their playful banter first gained viral traction during the 2024 awards season. After winning Best Actor in a TV Drama for “Succession,” Culkin famously declared, “Suck it, Pedro!” The camera then cut to a visibly amused, yet slightly bewildered, Pascal. The comedic exchange continued a few weeks later at the Emmy Awards, where Pascal, sporting a sling due to a supposed injury, jokingly blamed Culkin, claiming, “Keiran Culkan beat the shit out of me.”

Culkin’s 2025 Golden Globe nomination marks one of four nominations for “A Real Pain,” which is also up for Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical. The film has already garnered critical acclaim, with Culkin winning awards from the New York Film Critics Circle and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. The continued playful interactions between Culkin and Pascal promise more entertaining moments as the awards season unfolds.
