It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Everett Moore, a beloved resident of North Anson, who passed away peacefully at his home on May 18th. He was 80 years old.

Life and Legacy

Carl was born in North Anson on August 12, 1942, to John and Mary Moore. He spent his childhood in the town, attending local schools and developing a love for the outdoors. After graduating from high school, Carl enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country honorably. Upon his return to North Anson, he began working as a carpenter, a trade he would continue for many years.

Carl was a dedicated member of his community, serving on the town council and volunteering with various organizations. He was known for his kind heart, his infectious laugh, and his willingness to help those in need. Carl was a true outdoorsman, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends.

Family and Friends

Carl is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan Moore; his children, John Moore of Skowhegan and Mary Moore of Portland; his grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Moore; his sister, Jane Doe of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Arrangements

A funeral service for Carl will be held later this summer. Details will be announced at a later date.

Tributes and Condolences

The family would like to thank the staff at Skowhegan Health Care Center for their compassionate care during Carl’s final days. They would also like to express their gratitude to the many friends and family members who have offered their support during this difficult time.
