A celebration of life for Paula Jean Caswell will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brunswick Golf Club in Brunswick, Maine.

Obituary

Paula Jean Caswell, 81, of Brunswick, Maine, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Paula was born in Portland, Maine on June 15, 1941, to the late John and Mary (Smith) Doe. She grew up in Portland and attended local schools. After graduating from high school, Paula worked as a secretary for several years before meeting her husband, John Caswell. The couple married in 1965 and settled in Brunswick, where they raised their two children.

Paula was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was also an active member of her community, volunteering her time at the local library and soup kitchen. Paula was a kind and compassionate person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Paula is survived by her husband, John; her children, Sarah and John Jr.; her grandchildren, Emily and Ethan; and her brother, David.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Paula’s name.
