Nikki Glaser’s jokes targeting Sean “Diddy” Combs at the 2025 Golden Globes have drawn sharp criticism from lawyers representing several of the rapper’s accusers. Ariel Mitchell, attorney for alleged rape victim Ashley Parham and other accusers, condemned Glaser’s humor, expressing hope that the comedian has never experienced sexual assault or the subsequent ridicule. Mitchell highlighted the detrimental impact of such jokes, arguing that trivializing sexual assault discourages victims from coming forward and reporting their abuse. She underscored the hypocrisy of a woman making light of such a serious issue.
Echoing Mitchell’s concerns, Tyrone Blackburn, representing Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones and other accusers, criticized Glaser’s comedic choices. He suggested that a comedian of her stature should possess the skill to find humor that doesn’t involve making light of serious allegations like drugging and rape. Glaser’s performance reportedly included jokes about Diddy’s absence from the after-party due to his current incarceration.
Diddy is currently incarcerated at MDC Brooklyn facing charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty, with his trial scheduled for May. TMZ has reached out to Glaser’s representative for comment, but has yet to receive a response.
