Cleveland, Ohio – Eileen M. Mascha (nee Adams), 54, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Eileen was born on June 18, 1969, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Gerald and Patricia (nee Kuhn) Adams. She grew up in a close-knit family and attended local schools, graduating with honors. From a young age, Eileen demonstrated a bright mind and a compassionate heart.

After high school, Eileen pursued a degree in nursing at the University of Cincinnati, where she excelled academically and gained valuable experience working in various healthcare settings. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Rich Mascha.

Eileen and Rich were married on June 26, 1993, and welcomed two beautiful children into the world: Payton and Willem. Eileen cherished her role as a mother and dedicated herself to providing a loving and supportive home for her family.

Throughout her life, Eileen remained a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She had a special bond with her siblings, Patti and Jerry, and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Eileen also had a deep love for animals and found joy in caring for her beloved dog, Roxy.

Professionally, Eileen had a distinguished career as a registered nurse. She worked tirelessly to provide exceptional care to her patients, always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Eileen was highly respected by her colleagues and patients alike for her dedication, compassion, and expertise.

In addition to her nursing career, Eileen was actively involved in her community. She volunteered her time at local soup kitchens and homeless shelters, always seeking ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Eileen’s kindness and generosity touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Eileen’s passing is a profound loss for her family, friends, and the community. She will be deeply missed for her unwavering love, infectious laughter, and selfless nature. Her legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire those who knew her for generations to come.

Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Rich; her children, Payton (fiancé Mitch Wohl) and Willem; her siblings, Patti and Jerry; her nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 2 to 6 pm at the BRICKMAN BROS. FUNERAL HOME, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association in Eileen’s memory.
