Mexican singer and actress Dulce, known for her captivating ballads and love songs that resonated with generations, has passed away at the age of 69. Her family announced her death on Christmas Day in a statement requesting privacy during their time of grief.
Dulce’s sister shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing her sorrow and remembering her sibling: “Sister, you are already with our mother in heaven singing to her, I will miss you, rest in peace, I love you.” Dulce, whose real name was Bertha Elisa Noeggerath Cárdenas, achieved widespread fame for her iconic hits such as “Déjame Volver Contigo” and “Tu Muñeca.”
Earlier in December, the singer informed her fans of her hospitalization, leading to the cancellation of several scheduled performances. Days later, it was revealed that Dulce was in poor but stable condition and was scheduled to undergo pleuropulmonary decortication surgery. The cause of her death has not yet been publicly released.
