Obituary of Glyn Roy Parson

Glyn Roy Parson, age 52 of Blandon, peacefully passed away on Wednesday May 15, 2024, at home.

He was the husband of Melissa D. (Negri) Parson, who he was married to for 21 years.

Glyn was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, to Glyn and Brenda (Starr) Parson. He graduated from Wyomissing High School in 1990 and earned a BS degree from Kutztown University in 1996.

Glyn was the owner of Spring Training, a sports card trading and collecting company. Prior to that, he was the former vice president and CFO of All County Employment Services.

Glyn was an avid sports fan and enjoyed movies, music, especially listening to his favorite band the Grateful Dead.

Glyn is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; daughter Cassidy Parson; mother Brenda; father Glyn; and brother Christopher.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM followed by a memorial service at 8:00PM at the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lyme Disease Association, The Animal Rescue League or Peaceable Kingdom.
