A Chicago man, Hilton Keller, is being released from prison more than 30 years after his wrongful conviction for murder. He was imprisoned for the armed robbery and murder of music and game store owner Ollie Jones on May 19, 1991. Keller’s attorney contends that overwhelming evidence points to another man, now deceased, as the actual perpetrator. Furthermore, the attorney alleges that prosecutors ignored exculpatory evidence and violated their duty to disclose such evidence to the defense. Keller will be released from prison Monday night.
