“Somebody thought my area so low that I was upset that they were able to do this without any repercussions,” the pastor said.
HOUSTON — Illegal dumping occurred on the roads of northeast Houston, and the local pastor got fed up and called for help.
The trash was dumped behind the New Faces Baptist Church and captured on camera.
Pastor MD Morrison said his parishioners embraced more than a weekly Sunday service.
“It creates an odor that our members have to deal with,” said Reverend Morrison.
The cause of the stench was garbage that had been dumped in the back alley of his church.
“We found animals, we found horses,” said Morrison.
They find furniture, tires and even the unthinkable.
“You can see the cross here because the body was found there,” Morrison said.
One of the latest illegal dumps took place in broad daylight and was caught on camera at around 10:20 am on March 2nd.
“He pulled forward 100 feet and opened the trailer.
The road was littered with garbage, and the back of the church looked like a dumping ground.
Morrison said, “It pissed me off that someone could think so low of my realm and do this with no repercussions.
Percentage Constable Alan Rosen released a video to social media on Thursday, hoping to find those responsible.
“This is also a health hazard, and people should not be made to believe that it is okay to throw garbage in front of churches and around people who live there,” Rosen said.
