Danelle Donato, a Reading native and former model, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, at the age of 63. Danelle was born in Reading on November 15, 1960, and was the daughter of Frank Donato and the late Roma Ann (Ferrara) Donato.

Danelle was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School (class of ’78) and attended modeling school in New York City. Her successful modeling career took her around the world. She was well-known in the entertainment industry and was good friends with celebrities like Wayne Newton, who affectionately nicknamed her “To Tall.”

After her modeling career, Danelle returned to Reading and worked as a tester at AT&T and later Lucent. She was respected for her work ethic and her attention to detail.

Legacy and Memorial

Danelle will be remembered for her beauty, her kindness, and her sense of humor. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
