Isobel Bridget O’Hara (née Kealey), 27th September 2024
Isobel Bridget O’Hara, 77, of Toomebridge, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home. A cherished member of the community, Isobel was the beloved wife of the late Philip O’Hara and a devoted mother to Paula, Eugene, Declan, and the late Martin. Born to Bernard and Mary Kealey in Magherafelt, she was a sister to Maureen Scullion, Geraldine Kealey, and Joseph Kealey, with her brother Seamus preceding her in death.
Isobel was known for her warm spirit and deep faith, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that touched many lives. Her love for her family was immense, and she will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family, including her in-laws Dominic Scullion and Carmel Kealey.
A Requiem Mass in her honor will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Moneyglass, on September 30, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family encourages donations to charities of choice as a way to continue her compassionate work.
Isobel’s kindness and dedication to her family and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving a lasting impression on the lives she touched. May she rest in peace
