It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Jonathan Michael Bloedow, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2024, at the age of 43.
A Devoted Family Man
Jonathan’s life revolved around his family. He is survived by his cherished wife, Ashley, and their three adorable children: Wesley, Noah, and Paisley. They were the center of his universe, and he cherished every moment he had with them. Jonathan’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, from the way he cared for them to the sacrifices he made for their well-being.
A Respected Professional
Jonathan was a skilled and dedicated Machine Tool Service Technician. He graduated from Anoka Technical College and quickly established himself as a valuable asset to his company. Known for his expertise and attention to detail, Jonathan was a trusted and respected professional in his field.
A Passionate and Caring Individual
Outside of his work, Jonathan had several passions that brought him joy. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, frequently cheering them on from the sidelines. Fishing and hunting were also among his favorite pastimes, where he could connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Jonathan also had a deep love for gardening and took pride in maintaining a stunning yard. He spent countless hours tending to his plants and flowers, creating a beautiful oasis for his family and friends to enjoy.
A Helping Hand to All
Jonathan was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. He was always ready to lend a hand, whether it was to a neighbor in need or a friend going through a tough time. His empathy and compassion made him a true friend to many.
Mourned by Many
Jonathan’s untimely passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family and friends. He is deeply mourned by his wife, Ashley; his children, Wesley, Noah, and Paisley; his parents, Michael and Sherri; his sisters, Jessica (Brett) Wiener and Julene (Reid) Schulz; his mother-in-law, Barbara Snyder; his brothers-in-law, Shaun (Rosa), Kevin, Joe (Justin), and Josh Snyder; his sister-in-law, Melissa (Ryan) Possert; his nieces and nephews, Ella, Adalynn, Hudson, Landon, Samuel, Reagan, and many more; and by countless other loving family members and dear friends.
Jonathan’s legacy will live on through the love he shared with his family, the friends he cherished, and the impact he made on his community. He will be remembered as a man of unwavering devotion, kindness, and humor, whose presence brought joy to all who knew him.
Funeral Arrangements
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville. Visitation will take place from 5-8 pm on Monday, June 10, 2024, at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Tr, Lakeville. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Lunch will be served after the service.
Interment will take place at 3 pm at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Bloedow Children’s Education Fund.
Jonathan will forever be remembered for his love, kindness, and unwavering spirit. May he rest in eternal peace.
