Born: Julita was born in Cabanbanan, Manaoag, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Occupation: Julita was an elementary school teacher for 29 years.

Family: Julita married her first husband, Loreto, and had 4 children. Widowed at 31, she became a single mother and raised her young children with the help of family. She married her second husband, Leon in 1975, and immigrated to the United States in 1977. Julita worked as a data entry clerk in several Bay Area companies. Leon passed in 1989 and Julita retired in 1991.

Community Involvement: Julita became active in 4 Filipino American clubs in Solano County, and served as an officer for over 20 years.

Hobbies: Julita loved to travel, dance, read, and spend time with family.

Death: Julita passed away peacefully at 95 years old. She is predeceased by 1 beloved son and is survived by her 3 children, 2 stepchildren, and 4 siblings. She has 13 grandchildren, 18 great grand-children, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Vigil: The Vigil is on May 2, at 5 pm at Colonial Chapel.

Funeral Mass: The Funeral Mass is on May 3 at 1 pm at St. Vincent’s Ferrer.

Julita was kind, generous, and loving. A devout Catholic, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
