Joey King and Cooper Koch, acclaimed actors known for their diverse roles in film and television, will unveil the nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The announcement, airing this Wednesday, January 8th at 10:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. PT, will be streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel.
The event will commence with SAG Awards committee members Jason George and Elizabeth McLaughlin announcing the nominees for Outstanding Action Performances by a Stunt Ensemble. Following this, SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher will deliver a speech before introducing King and Koch to complete the nominations reveal. King, a previous SAG Award nominee for her role in Hulu’s “The Act,” and Koch, a Golden Globe nominee for his performance in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” bring considerable experience and prestige to this year’s announcement.
The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony itself will be hosted by Kristen Bell and will feature the presentation of the Life Achievement Award to Jane Fonda, a testament to her enduring contribution to the industry and activism. The awards show, produced by Silent House Productions in partnership with SAG-AFTRA, will stream live globally on Netflix on Sunday, February 23rd, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Jon Brockett returns as executive producer, joined by Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco, and Linda Gierahn of Silent House Productions.
