Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a two-day visit to his constituency, Kuppam in Chittoor district, on January 6th and 7th. This tour, announced by District Collector K Sumit Kumar, will feature a series of events and project inaugurations.
Naidu’s visit commences on January 6th at 11:50 am with his arrival at the Dravidian University helipad. He will immediately unveil the “Swarna Kuppam Vision 2029” at the university auditorium at noon. Following this, he will travel to Nadimur village at 2:25 pm to inaugurate a solar energy project and engage with local beneficiaries. Later, at 4:00 pm, he will visit Seegalapalli village to meet with natural farmers, release the Natural Farming Vision Document aimed at transforming Kuppam into an organic hub, and participate in the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The day will conclude with a review meeting at the Dravidian University auditorium and an overnight stay at the R&B Guest House in Kuppam.
On January 7th, Naidu’s schedule begins at 10:00 am with a visit to the TDP party office in Kuppam, where he will inaugurate the Jananayakudu Centre and interact with the public. At 12:20 pm, he will unveil a statue of late Shyamanna in Kangundi village, followed by a visit to the NTR Sports Complex in Kuppam at 1:20 pm. Between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm, he will lay the foundation stones for various development projects. Finally, at 6:10 pm, he will inaugurate the 1M1B (1 Million for 1 Billion – Career Readiness Centre) at the Dravidian University’s academic building. The day will conclude with a final review meeting with officials at the university before returning to the R&B Guest House.
District Collector Sumit Kumar, along with Joint Collector G Vidyadhari, has overseen preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit. Inspections were conducted at key venues, including Seegalapalli, Nadimur, and the Dravidian University, to ensure seamless execution. Dedicated officials have been assigned to manage each event. The inspection team included officials from Kuppam, Palamaneru, and Chittoor, further highlighting the comprehensive preparations underway.
