Lake Houston Tornado Sighting Caught on Video


WEATHER ALERT

Houston, TX – December 26, 2024

Viewers have submitted video of a waterspout, appearing as a tornado, crossing Lake Houston Thursday afternoon. Brandon Gardner captured footage of the waterspout churning across the lake as the storm moved eastward. Ronny and Candace Winston also provided KPRC 2 with video of the event.

The storm, which prompted a tornado warning, has since moved into Liberty County. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports no damage or injuries at this time.
