With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Frohardt, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Larry passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2024, at the age of 79.
Early Life and Family
Larry was born on March 31st, 1945, in Aurora, Colorado, to John and Ila Rose Frohardt. He grew up in a loving home with three siblings: Robert, Stephen (predeceased), and Judy.
Larry’s heart was captured by Jan, the love of his life. They shared 57 years of marriage, a testament to their unbreakable bond. Together, they raised two cherished children, Scott and Amy, who brought immense joy to their lives. Larry adored his grandchildren, Sophia, Tyler, and Hannah, and they inherited his infectious smile and generous spirit.
Legacy of Kindness and Generosity
Larry lived a life marked by kindness and generosity. His infectious humor and quick wit brightened the lives of countless others. He forged lasting friendships through his active involvement in the PT Cruiser Club of the Rockies and the Elks Club.
Larry’s unwavering support for the Denver Broncos was legendary. Every Sunday was a ritual of cheering on his beloved team with unwavering passion.
Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Larry’s extraordinary life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in Larry’s memory.
