Lost Girl Diary: Paranormal Romance Films in Italy!

Full Moon Features’ Pulp Noir Label Begins Filming *The Lost Girl’s Private Diary* in Italy

Charles Band’s Full Moon Features, a prolific purveyor of horror and fantasy films for over three decades, is gearing up for production of its third Pulp Noir film, *The Lost Girl’s Private Diary*. Filming is slated to begin in Italy in late February. This new production label, launched last year, focuses on delivering “edgier, weirder, darker horror and dark fantasy films,” a departure that has already yielded *Quadrant* and *Death Streamer*.

*The Lost Girl’s Private Diary*, a paranormal romance, is described by Band as reminiscent of his 1990 film, *Meridian*. He will direct this latest venture himself. The official synopsis reveals a story centered on Lily, a “Lost Girl”—a young vampire whose youthful appearance belies her half-century existence. Living a life of hedonistic excess fueled by drugs and alcohol, she exists between the worlds of the living and the undead, documenting her exploits in a secret diary. A chance encounter in a club situated within an ancient monastery leads to a sensual night and the accidental loss of her diary. The diary falls into the hands of a mysterious man who embarks on a quest to find its author, unveiling Lily’s erotic adventures through her intimate writings.

The Italian setting holds special significance for Band, as it’s his native country and the location of several past productions. He expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Italy on his *Full Moon Universe* YouTube show, recalling previous films like *Skull Heads* and *Demonic Toys 2* shot there years ago. He anticipates the unique locations available will contribute to the film’s special character.

To support the Pulp Noir productions, Full Moon has established a Patreon account, offering fans various subscription tiers. The highest tier grants subscribers an executive producer credit on the films produced during their subscription period. For fans of Full Moon and paranormal romances, *The Lost Girl’s Private Diary* promises a unique and intriguing cinematic experience.
