Neha Harsora on her show's consecutive weeks atop TRP charts:
Udne Ki Aasha’s recent triumph in topping the TRP charts, surpassing the long-reigning Anupamaa, has generated considerable buzz. Neha Harsora, the show’s lead actress, recently spoke to India Forums about this significant achievement, expressing a complex range of emotions rather than outright celebratory feelings.

Harsora, who plays Sailee in Udne Ki Aasha, professed immense admiration for Rupali Ganguly’s portrayal of Anupamaa. She stated, “She has done a fantastic job as Anupamaa. I really adore her. I watched her show during Covid and would think, ‘Wow, she’s doing so well, she’s doing such a fabulous job. Totally strong and independent.’” This highlights a deep respect for Ganguly’s work and the legacy of Anupamaa.

Regarding Udne Ki Aasha’s success in overtaking Anupamaa in the ratings, Harsora clarified, “I don’t feel any great feeling about it. I mean, I won’t lie. It feels good for the whole unit and for everyone that our show is doing well and people are liking it, but there’s nothing like, ‘Oh, I have beaten Anupamaa.’ It’s not like that.” This response underscores a humble perspective, emphasizing the team effort and positive reception of Udne Ki Aasha rather than focusing on surpassing a competitor.

Set against a Marathi backdrop, Udne Ki Aasha follows the intertwined lives of Sailee, a florist played by Harsora, and Sachin, portrayed by Kanwar Dhillon. Their relationship faces numerous challenges stemming from family conflicts and personal tragedies. The story unfolds as Sailee searches for her ideal partner and unexpectedly connects with Sachin, a young man raised by his grandmother, their contrasting backgrounds adding intrigue to their burgeoning romance.
