Alison “Mickey” Mizner, 88, of Waterville, passed away on January 14. She was born on June 22, 1935, in Waterville, the daughter of John and Mary (Smith) Mizner.
Mickey was a graduate of Waterville High School and Colby College. She worked as a teacher for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Waterville Congregational Church and the Colby College Alumni Association.
Mickey was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her two sons, John Mizner of Waterville and David Mizner of Portland; her two daughters, Mary Mizner of Boston and Susan Mizner of New York City; her five grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mickey’s life will be held on June 22 at 10 a.m. at the Lorimer Chapel and Colby College, with a luncheon reception to follow at 2 West Court.
