Anna Marie Gerald, 83, of Clinton, Passes Away

Clinton, Maine – Anna Marie Gerald, an 83-year-old resident of Clinton, passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2023. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

Obituary

Anna Marie was born in Clinton on July 10th, 1939, to parents John and Mary Smith. She grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1957. After high school, Anna Marie worked as a secretary for several local businesses before marrying her beloved husband, Robert Gerald, in 1962. Together, they had three children: John, Susan, and David.

Anna Marie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also an active member of her community, volunteering for several local organizations, including the Clinton Food Pantry and the Clinton Historical Society.

Anna Marie is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, John (and his wife, Mary), Susan (and her husband, Tom), and David (and his wife, Sarah); her grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, and Sarah; and her sister, Jane Doe. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Smith Jr.

Funeral Arrangements

A graveside service will be held in Anna Marie’s honor on Thursday, July 20th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Rest Cemetery in Clinton. All are welcome to attend.
