Upon returning home, Dennis continued to serve his community through various organizations and volunteer initiatives.

He was a proud member of the Maine Army National Guard for over two decades, where he rose through the ranks to become a highly respected Sergeant First Class. Service and Remembrance

A memorial service to celebrate Dennis’s life and legacy will be held at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery in Augusta on July 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Dennis are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a true hero and community icon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dennis’s memory to the Maine Veterans Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting Maine veterans and their families.
