Cullman Man Dies Unexpectedly at 40
Arno “Trey” Lamb, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the age of 40. Trey was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on September 14, 1983, to Arno C. Lamb Jr. and Phyllis Ann Klaiber.
Trey was a graduate of Cullman High School and attended Wallace State Community College. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years. Trey was a talented musician and loved playing guitar and singing. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
Trey is survived by his wife, Melissa Fowler Lamb; his daughters, Lacey Lamb of Murphy, North Carolina, and Braelynn Lamb of Sutersville, Pennsylvania; his sons, Matthew Lee of Nahunta, Georgia, and Alexander Lamb of Cullman; his mother, Phyllis Ann Klaiber of Hartselle, Alabama; his father, Arno C. Lamb of Key Largo, Florida; his sisters, Amanda (Jason) Sanford of Somerville, Alabama, and Meagan Lamb of Key Largo, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home in Cullman. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., and a reception in Trey’s honor will follow at the funeral home.
In Lieu of Flowers
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Trey Lamb Memorial Fund, which has been established to support his children’s education.
