Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on [Date of Birth], to LeRoy M. and Ruth E. (Fisher) Stieff, Carol embarked on a remarkable journey filled with adventure, triumph, and unwavering determination. A graduate of Reading High School (Class of 1965) and Kutztown University (Class of 1969), she pursued her dreams with passion and an unyielding zest for life.

Carol’s career as a flight attendant for United Airlines was a testament to her adventurous spirit and love of travel. In 1987, Carol’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This life-altering diagnosis presented challenges that tested her limits, but it never dampened her spirit. With unwavering determination, she refused to let MS define her. Instead, she became an advocate for others living with the condition, sharing her experiences and offering hope through her indomitable spirit.

Her unwavering spirit was a beacon of strength for those around her, inspiring them to embrace life’s challenges with courage and resilience. Carol’s ability to find joy and purpose in every situation was a testament to her unyielding optimism and the power of the human spirit.

Carol’s greatest joy in life came from her daughter, Megan M. Hersh. Their bond was unbreakable, and Carol loved her daughter with a fierce and unwavering devotion. She also found deep love and companionship in her son-in-law, D.J. Butz, whom she welcomed into her family with open arms.

In her honor, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15th, at 11:00 A.M. in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Per Carol’s request, please do not wear black. Instead, embrace the vibrant spirit she embodied by wearing bright and cheerful colors.
