In Memoriam: Cary Knight Bradford, Beloved Brunswick Resident

A Life Well-Lived

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cary Knight Bradford, a cherished member of the Brunswick community. Cary passed away peacefully on June 3, 2023, at the age of 89.

Cary was born and raised in Brunswick, Maine, and his love for his hometown was evident in all he did. He was a graduate of Brunswick High School and attended the University of Maine, where he earned a degree in business administration.

After college, Cary returned to Brunswick and began his career in the banking industry. He quickly rose through the ranks and became a respected financial advisor. Cary was known for his integrity, hard work, and dedication to his clients.

A Devoted Family Man

Cary’s family was his pride and joy. He was a loving husband to his wife of 65 years, Mary, and a devoted father to his three children, John, Jane, and James. Cary cherished spending time with his family, whether it was attending their sporting events, taking them on vacations, or simply gathering for family dinners.

A Passion for Giving Back

Cary was deeply committed to giving back to his community. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and served on the board of directors of the Brunswick Community Hospital. Cary was also an active supporter of the Midcoast Humane Society and the Brunswick Land Trust.

Cary’s legacy of generosity and service will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life

A celebration of Cary’s life will be held in July. Details will be announced soon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cary’s memory to the Midcoast Humane Society or the Brunswick Land Trust.
