Chrystal was born in Augusta, Maine, on January 26, 1951, to Earl and Mary Shorey. She grew up in a loving home and had a close relationship with her family.

Early Life and Education

Chrystal attended local schools and graduated from high school in 1969. After graduation, she attended college for two years before starting her career.


Chrystal worked for many years as a customer service representative for a local insurance company. She was known for her friendly and helpful demeanor, and she always went the extra mile to help her customers.

Family and Personal Life

Chrystal met her husband, Douglas Hassen, in 1976, and they were married a year later. They had three sons together: Reginald, Justin, and Kurt.

Chrystal was a devoted wife and mother, and she loved spending time with her family. She was always there for her sons, and she supported them in all their endeavors.

In her spare time, Chrystal enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She also loved animals, and she had several cats and dogs over the years.
