Funeral Service Information
The funeral service for Cloie Belle Kelley, age 89, of Cullman, will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and interment will follow at Friendship Methodist Cemetery.
Family and Community Legacy
Cloie Belle, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on October 9, 1934, to William Washington Pirkle and Lilly Belle Johnson Pirkle. Her life’s journey ended peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
She dedicated her life to her family, raising three children with love and devotion. Her sons, Tim Kelley (Sindy) and Terry Kelley, and daughters, Sharon Humphries (Steve) and Melissa Purser (Dave), will cherish her memory forever.
Cloie left an imprint on the Cullman community through her unwavering support for Friendship Methodist Church. She actively participated in church activities and was a source of inspiration for many.

Cloie’s legacy will live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kelli Powell (Mark), Kristi Witcher (Steven), Heath “Bubba” Harbison (Chanda), Julie Welborn (John), Kaitlyn Aguirre (Andy), Terri Lynn Kelley, and Shaton Kelley. Her 17 great-grandchildren brought immeasurable joy to her life.
Pallbearers will be her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a testament to the enduring bond they shared with their grandmother.
