It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Danielle Lynn Abbott, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Danielle’s life was cut short at the young age of 41 on August 13, 2024, leaving an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved her.

Early Life and Education

Danielle was born on August 13, 1982, in Augusta, Maine, to Pam Magee and Darren Vogel. She grew up in Farmingdale, attending local schools and graduating from Hall-Dale High School. During her school years, Danielle forged lasting friendships that would sustain her throughout her life.

Career and Family

Danielle dedicated herself to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for many years. She later transitioned to retail, where she continued to brighten the lives of those around her. Danielle’s greatest joy in life was her family. She adored her three children, Ashtyn, Dannielynn, and Brooklynn, and was a devoted mother who always put their needs first.

Hobbies and Interests

In her spare time, Danielle enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones, creating crafts that brought joy to her home, and immersing herself in the world of movies. She possessed a warm and inviting personality that made everyone around her feel welcome and loved.

Legacy of Love and Remembrance

Danielle’s memory will forever be cherished by her children: Ashtyn Abbott of Farmingdale, and Dannielynn and Brooklynn Magee of Gardiner; her parents, Pam and Mark Magee of Gardiner, and Darren Vogel and wife Misty of China; her sisters, Cristina Holman of Augusta, and Jasmine Leonard and husband Kent of Chelsea; her brothers, Justin Brown of Whitefield, Elijah Vogel of Lewiston, and Ricki George and wife Michelle of Saco; her grandmother, Ada Mulvey of Richmond; grandfather, Paul Magee Sr. of Augusta; her aunt, Sharon and Glenn Mercier of Sidney; uncle, Paul and Sandy Magee of Farmingdale; aunt, Lynda and Pete Martin of Sidney; uncle, Tim Tibbitts of Augusta; uncle, Jim and Mary Vogel of Belgrade; aunt, Mary and Chris Read of China; and Patti Tripp of Randolph. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Danielle’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Foursquare Church in Gardiner, located at 109 Old Brunswick Road, Gardiner.

Ways to Honor Danielle

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Danielle’s name to the Family Violence Project, PO Box 304, Augusta, ME 04332. The Family Violence Project provides critical support and services to victims of domestic violence and their families.
