Obituary: Debra Hagemore

Life

Debra Hagemore, a beloved resident of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 on April 18, 2024.

Born on May 7, 1947, Debra was the cherished daughter of Walt and Lollie Wilbanks.

Family

Debra was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Joe Hagemore, and her devoted brother, Terry Wilbanks.

Her legacy lives on through her three loving sons: Tim Hagemore (Rhonda), Lance Hagemore (Janey), and Dewayne Hagemore (Connie).

Legacy

Debra was a devoted grandmother to six exceptional grandchildren: Jessica Hagemore, Candice Fomby, Kacee Hagemore (Bea), Justin White (Brittany), Caleb Hagemore, and Lacey Hagemore.

She cherished her great-grandson, Baker White, as well as her brother, Charles Wilbanks (Diane), and her dedicated caregiver, Robin Campbell.

Service Information

A funeral service to celebrate Debra’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.
