Obituary

Dena Lang, age 80, of Cullman, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

Dena was born on January 1, 1944, to John and Mary Lang in Cullman, Alabama. She was a lifelong resident of Cullman and a faithful member of First Baptist Church.

Dena was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a kind and generous woman who always put others before herself. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dena is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Lang; her children, David (Julie) Lang and Susan (Michael) Johnson; her grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, and James Lang, and Ethan and Anna Johnson; her sister, Brenda (James) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lang.

There are no services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
