In Memoriam: Birdena Evelyn (Kenney) Padham

Birdena Evelyn (Kenney) Padham, a beloved resident of Madison, passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on May 17th. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Birdena was born on August 10, 1924, in Solon, Maine, to parents John and Mary Kenney. She grew up in a close-knit family and had fond memories of her childhood in the small town. After graduating from high school, Birdena moved to Madison, where she met the love of her life, Harold Padham. They married in 1946 and spent the next 60 years together, raising a family and building a life filled with love and laughter.

Birdena was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, and her grandchildren brought her immense joy. She was also an active member of her community, volunteering her time at the local church and helping out at various events. Birdena was known for her kind heart, her warm smile, and her unwavering optimism. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
