Obituary for Sherrie G Allison
Sherrie G Allison, age 84, formerly from Peoria Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, in Cullman, Alabama.
Born August 8, 1939, as Sherrie Gail Hale in Cullman County Alabama. Preceded in death by her parents Elmus and Ruby Hale. Brothers Elmus (Hunky) Hale, Jackie Hale, Jerry Hale and John Hale. Sisters Eva Toothman and Francis Guthrie.
Survived by son, Michael (Robin) Hoshor and daughter, Rita (Michael) Golden. Brothers Billy Hale and Charlie (Pat) Hale. Sisters Geraldine (Robert) Austin, Stella Nolley and Diann (Steve)Fuller. Grandsons, Mason and Merit Rowe. Granddaughters Avery Hoshor and Maria Rowe. One Great granddaughter Essy.
And a special mention to beloved nephew Darrel Sanders.
Funeral Arrangements
A funeral service will be held on August 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Cullman Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Cullman City Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Obituary
Sherrie G Allison was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a kind and compassionate woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was a lifelong resident of Cullman, Alabama and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cullman.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Allison. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Sherrie was a devoted wife and mother. She was always there for her family and friends. She was a great cook and loved to entertain. She was also an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Sherrie will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her love of life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
