A Proud Veteran and Dedicated Firefighter
Seep proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he forged an indomitable spirit and unwavering sense of duty. Upon returning home, he found a new calling in the Trevor community, becoming an active member of the local Boy Scouts Troop and eventually serving as chief of the Trevor Volunteer Fire Department for over three decades.
A Tireless Community Advocate
Beyond his service to the fire department, Seep was a tireless advocate for the Trevor community. He served on the school board, dedicating himself to ensuring the best possible education for the town’s children. His involvement in the community extended to every corner, from organizing events to supporting local businesses.
A Man of Infectious Joy and Unforgettable Laughter
Seep’s infectious personality and booming laughter filled every room he entered. With an uncanny ability to connect with people from all walks of life, he made every conversation feel significant and personal. Seep’s passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends and colleagues. Memorial Service and Celebration of Life
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Home in Antioch, Illinois. The service will include military and fire department honors, honoring Seep’s service to his country and community. A private interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to The Sharing Center in Trevor, Wisconsin, or the Trevor Volunteer Fire Department Association.
