Tony Anthony Thomas of Rockford departed this earthly life December 17, 2022. He was born April 6, 1968 in Rockford the son of Mary Scott and Samuel Jackson. Tony lived in Rockford 10 years coming from Chicago. Tony was last employed as a cook by Stone Eagle. He graduated from Orr High School in Chicago, IL.

Tony leaves to cherish many memories, daughter, Tiara Thomas; mother, Mary Thomas; four sisters, Georgia Scott, Mamie (Derrick) Colvin, Carla Thomas, and April Thomas; two brothers, Johnny Craig and Robert Thomas; former wife, Kim; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
