Life and Legacy

George Marion Teague, a beloved member of the Vinemont community, passed away on May 7, 2024.

George’s life was marked by service, education, and a passion for living. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force for two years.

After returning from service, George pursued his education, graduating from Athens State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in April 2016.

George dedicated himself to helping others, working with The Lighthouse of Cullman before finding his career in industrial maintenance for West Rock Packaging.

Beyond his professional endeavors, George was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, fishing, and grilling. His practical skills extended to building things from scratch and fixing almost anything.

George is lovingly remembered for his unwavering patriotism, deep love for Alabama football, and his fascination with Native American culture.

He believed in giving countless chances to those in need, patiently supporting them through their challenges.

George’s kindness and generosity extended beyond his family to his friends and community.
